Dear doubles tournament participants,
The entrance to Ilm-Sporthalle is on the east-facing end of the hall, exactly where the marker is on OpenStreetMap.
Please be in the hall on Saturday and Sunday a quarter of an hour before play starts (Saturday at 9:15 and Sunday at 9:45) and sign the attendance list provided, so that we know whether everyone is there and can make the draws.
We play on 9 courts, one game to 30 points. There is no extension. The closest possible result is 30:29.
The winners score the next match.
The pair called first collects the match sheet from the tournament desk. It is located above the stands.
We play 6 rounds in the Swiss system in all disciplines, with 2 exceptions: The Women's Doubles A division plays a two times round-robin tournament (6 matches), and the Women's Doubles F division plays a round-robin tournament over 5 rounds.
The ranking criteria are:
- Number of wins
- Buchholz points (sum of the opponents' wins, regardless of the match results.)
- Total game points
In disciplines with an odd number of pairs (currently the men's doubles A, B, and F), there is one bye in each round. This counts as a win.
We plan to have the matches finished and the award ceremonies held by around 17:30 on Saturday and around 16:00 on Sunday.
